NOKIA's Answer To Apple iPhone

With the release of the Nokia Lumia 900 on AT&T, both Nokia and Microsoft look set to enter the smartphone market with a bang again. While there have been a slew of new Windows Phone devices to arrive in the past year, none of them have been able to capture as much attention as the beautifully designed Nokia Lumia 900. However does it have what it takes to go up against the highest selling smartphone on AT&T, the iPhone 4S? Let's find out.

Where the Nokia Lumia 900 beats the iPhone 4S (features comparison)
Starting with its design, it certainly stand out from the rest of the smartphones on the market. Stylish, elegant and featuring no visible seams, as the folk over at ComputerWorld claim, it would even receive approval from the late Steve Jobs.
However while it may be more stylish than the almost 2-year old design of the iPhone 4S, it has some other benefits that it can hold over the iPhone 4S. Here are some of them.
Size: With a 4.3-inch display that can show 'true black', you can't help but love the homescreen with its black background. Not only do the tiles pop out but a 4.3-inch display offers more real estate which makes it easier o on the eyes when using the browser or watching media.
LTE: Now if you've experienced LTE speeds before then just like me, you can't go back to 3G. At $99 on contract, the AT&T Nokia Lumia 900 is one of the cheapest LTE devices on the market.
Price tag: Starting at just $99, it is half the price of the cheapest iPhone 4S model you can get your hands on (start at $199 for the 16GB variant).
Metro tiles: This is a matter of preference but I personally loved the Metro tiles with the snippets of information they bring. A cross between the full-blown widgets in Android and the app icons in iOS, the Metro Tiles provide just enough information without overshadowing the other apps and shortcuts on your homescreen. Neat and useful is the best way to describe it.
